How's this for numpty of the year award? An hour before Display time on Sun, I couldn't get the van started. I got Rickydudelous to try and jump start it. I connected the leads up to the battery but it still wouldn't start. We had to rely on a quick emergency drive back from Birdy who had already had got to the display area at Volksworld. Anyway the good news is Birdy got it started. As an added bonus I now have a well charged leisure battery courtesy of a jump start from Rickydudelous!

I was very helpful in describing the problem to Birdy on the phone Birdy - 'what's it doing' Me - 'Nothing!!!' Birdy - 'what do you mean nothing' Me - 'I don't know - you're the mechanic - it's not moving or making any noise' accompanied with much hand flapping and standing around in the field looking glum
I would have said that you was doing the right thing making sure your leisure battery was properly charged up before camping .Made me laugh ,its similar to things i do sometimes ;D nice one.
It's not often any of these "I'm a numpty" threads make me smile but that gave me a proper chuckle! Good work!
