soooo with all the talk bout what damper should i fit, i kinda need an answer from one of you more learned fellows. lizzy has an adjuster on the front beam, i reckon shes about 4/5 inch down and i think the PO twisted the rear splines round and i guess its about 4 inches down aswel. So short ones all round? or just on the front with some standard height ones on the rear?
I'm looking at this on our van at the mo. If you measure the distance between the top and bottom eyes of the shock mounts you get the starting point to look at what spec damper you need to replace the og ones. Take a look at creative engineering or cool air's website as they do a number if different length shockers. From what I've seen you want at least 50mm compression before they bottom out more if poss. On the front of ours the front has 300mm between the centre of the mounts so probably going to get spax shock absorbers from CE with a travel of 230-330mm I think.
