In a bit of a spot with my new daily that means it may well be chopped in and swapped after 4 months of ownership! Said car is a 2005 Mazda 6 Estate which has had problems since purchase and we're coming to an agreement to effectively P/Ex it back with the garage we bought it from. This leaves us with a bit of a blank canvass again for car choice and wondered what you lot would suggest!? The brief is 2005 or newer, sub £4k, estate or large hatch (for the dog), bit of style and a little something under the right foot. We thought the Mazda suited but it the gearing was so long it was dull over 50mph!! Would like an A4 Avant or Golf bit fear they tip the budget too far
When I needed more space in a hatchback the Skoda Octavia couldn't be beaten for the money...the Superb has a equally large boot. Some people don't like the name. But if you listen carefully, it sounds like a VW...
Had a seat Leon, 03 shape, loved it... Got a Mitsubishi lancer now, massive hatchback.. And a vw 2.0 diesel in it... However best car ever was my Subaru impreza sportwagon... Bloody loved that car! 200,000 miles out of that flat four!
