  4. Spray paint the booth each time before spraying the vehicles.

Will give a better finish to the paint jobs.

    Apparently

  8. No spraying the booth with paint, stops dust and bits floating about & getting on the vehicle paint.

  10. OK. I've never sprayed a vehicle, it was just what I was told by people who painted mine.

Ive been in a few pro paint booths and have never seen anyone spray the booth before the vehicle...

  12. Pro booths don't need it as they have extractors that suck the dust & crap out

Spraying the booth is a proper expensive way of reducing dust!

  14. Yes it probably is expensive, but so is bodywork/flatting back paint.

I don't think they give the booth a full paint job, but just a quick blast of paint.

Si will be painting so many vehicles he can test what works best if he can be bothered.

Spray booth with water before painting.
Spray booth with paint, before painting vehicle.
    Just spraying the vehicle.

I can't think of a better way of stirring up any dust than spray painting the walls!
    Damp the floor, yes.

I had a mahoosive extractor fan that emptied the unit every 6 seconds or something like that. Combined with air line dusting it worked a treat and I never damped anything down or ran a fan while painting.

  17. Only the legend that is Si can answer that...............but he's bound to paint a few.

I'm sure he's already offered to sort a few latebayers out
