Spent a hundred quid yesterday on some scrap metal aka roof rack. It's a 3/4 rack and only has one leg. It is the sort that has short legs that sit with rubber feet on the roof, and legs that clamp to the gutter. It has curved bars. I am hoping to extend it to full length, add suitable feet and clamps (probably replace all) it has no clamps at present. And then do full length wooden bars front to back. I will probably paint it black. Here it is on my van.
This is what it looks like. Hopefully I can get some time and make a start this week. I wonder if it will be as easy as I think, or if I am going to stress out hahaha.
I want it to have more of a bow but short of driving over it with the other van, I will probably have to live with it as is.
