I have a metal one that JK sells. it holds cups well. Gets in the way of the handbrake a little (annoying more than a real issue). eventually, I put an iPhone holder in my ashtray and had a cup holder in my buddy box so didn’t need it.
I tried one but I’ve got extension to the gear stick and it bumped into it. I bought one of the ones off here that goes onto the passenger dash grab rail holder.
Don't understand drive through coffee places, particularly on motorways ...if you need a drink, get out of your vehicle and go into the cafe.
I have the JK effort and despite my irrational hatred of JK it's very useful. I am not a knuckle dragger and have delicate, almost feminine hands. Consequently, I have no problem either selecting forward & reverse gears or applying the handbrake with it in place.
What I like about this one is it clips on the ashtray and the top is level with the top of the ashtray - a good bit lower than the JK one. My worry gauges will be below the radio so they won't get as obscured. Also its only £15 posted.
