  2. Is there not a tab washer with that.

  3. Try it with the clamping nut/washer on. I remember with mine, there was some slight movement in the arm, but it went away once I'd tightened everything up. Not been a problem since.

  4. Originally they did not work like that ..they were not designed to operate the carb op the end but originally all movement and adjustment would be taken up with the stop screw lever

  6. If you're missing parts, dellorto.co.uk have all the bits.

My setup works fine with the CSP centremount (best linkage choice there is IMO).

  7. It’s supposed to be loose that how it was ! If you tighten it it will work loose or damage the shaft and the tab washer is to prevent the nut coming off .in snotty pic the screw is to take up movement ....

You can see the main arm is loose /floating and is adjusted by the screw at the end which operated the lever behind opening carb .....

  10. It is an odd arrangement. Just two simple arms works well enough, but tweaking the idle/balance does become a pain.

  12. Movement is fine. It will not cause any problems and many throttle linkages are deliberately designed like this.
