Covering bed boards?

  1. I've got a RustyLee bed in the van now, and am going to be making my own covers for the foam cushions, but I'm wondering what other people have done with the wooden boards? I'm thinking I'll cover them in some lightweight carpet trim before screwing them to the frame so that there aren't any bits of wood exposed, but don't know if I'm missing a trick and there are any other options. So what have you done with yours?

    Thanks :)

  2. I will be painting mine with protectakote its a rubberised paint with rubber granuals in it
It means the cushions wont slip off and if i want to carry furniture or logs or other crap you may use the van to move
Then it wont damage the wood and will also help the stuff your carrying stay put
Its used as a load bed liner in pick up trucks and as an anti slip coating on boats

    It comes in different colours
