I’ve got three vehicles out there all going nowhere. I must’ve done 50 miles tops between them in a month which is a fraction of the 1500 I’d normally do.
Do you think if I call my insurers and revise my limited mileage cover downwards they’ll revise my premiums and refund the difference?
If my bank telephone response is anything to go buy I’ll never have the time to spare for another marathon call queueing session to find out.

I suppose I’ve saved plenty on petrol. Ironically if I was filling it up I’d save on that too.

Swings and roundabouts I suppose. Or Snakes and Ladders...

Whilst travelling in Florida came across a shop selling beach stuff ...there was a beach towel with a confederate soldier standing to attention with fixed bayonet with stars and bars above him .
And written at the bottom of the towel read ..." Save yer Confederate money folks ..The south's gonna rise agayn ".

    Maybe being grateful is something
He probably couldn't use the EMU puppet due to social distancing and all the locals knowing he only uses it for a cheeky nut grab.

I'm hopping next week it'll be man in cage, carried by gorilla.

  10. Funnily enough Admiral have just emailed me to say they're giving me back 25 quid for each of the two vehicles we have insured with them.

  11. Thats nice of them.

  12. Has anyone else noticed theres a lot more people out walking at the moment?
The Promenade at Maryport had loads of dog walkers on it this morning. All keeping away from each other but still a lot of them. With the parks all closed i suppose it was going to happen as theres not a lot of green space otherwise to walk dogs.

  13. Certainly more cars about!

  14. Suppose they've reopened a few more businesses.

  15. Not sure. Still can't get stuff here.

The government appear to be doing a U turn and claiming they didn't tell anyone to stop working. The cost isn't bearable. Kiss goodbye to your furlough payments and cheap loans.

From "soon" the future will be normal UK style - everyone back to work, fines for working unsafely.

Suppose a relaxation and loads more deaths may bring things back in focus.

The Government will have to swing with whatever people do while pretending that's what they meant all along - they are already doing that with respect to going back to work. They govern by consent when all's said and done and many people will want to risk it and go back to work because...

We all ready have a large number of essential and key workers working - they never stopped - millions of them doing all kinds of things. They are clearly not dropping like flies are they? With this scenario concurrent with police stopping people having a picnic lunch it's difficult not to conclude the control of the virus spread is shambolic. It's not a big leap from there to making up your own mind about whether any activity is safe or not. Blanket bans are stupid, we all know that. Wildlife torturing has been mentioned - fair play - maggot stranglers space themselves out anyway and millions of people IMO would be perfectly safe doing that if they really must.
