it is with a heavy heart that i feel that i need to let you all know......... that i am considering having the camper lowered. Not by much but enough to improve handling and so that i don't have to clamber up to get in and jump to get out (i'm a bit short)! I've always been a stalwart supporter of stock vw's but as the camper is for family and friends too i am also worried that mum will have problems getting in with her arthritis too. so, i am seriously considering (and saving up) having him lowered but it will be on adjustables.
I was looking to buy an prototype bay that had been lowered a little and I could not believe how much better the handling was. I have always been worried about looking like a twenty year old and there are a lot of speed bumps in my neck of the woods but I am going to get mine lowered a bit when the summer is over. Don't have a cow about the Early - I didn't buy it but I would like one. I'd keep the improved version as well of course.
