Evening all, Got a bit of bad news today regarding my bus, I had it in a bodyshop that my friend owned (been there for over a year now) it was on the road when it went in, full strip and lots and lots of work later and it's about 2 days welding and then a load of prep and paint away from being done. Unfortunately my friend has had to close his bodyshop, due to ill health. I was helping him out over there in return for him doing the skilled bits of the job (not many so far!) I'm basically after either, somewhere local that can take the bay and let me get to it (and I'll try find someone local who can do the welding) or someone who can take it in and get the welding done before dropping it on my drive for the rest of the work! I lost my job a couple of months ago and have been scraping by doing photos for a sports magazine- not nearly as lucrative as some people think! I can afford to pay for the welding (I think!) and I will be doing the paint myself, along with all the re-fitting and fettling. The welding that needs doing is:- Opposite slider sill (terrible P.O repair needs replacing, I've got the panel) Window Surrounds (panel van conversion, same as everyone elses I can get steel sheet locally) Cab floor patch (not too important, will probably sort that myself as it doesn't need to be pretty!) Patch on the roof outer skin (rotten outer, cleaned and POR15'd inner but no idea where to start with replacing the outer) In return for any help I can offer any kind of photography as a kind of skill in return - I'm published for BMX, Skate and Mountain Biking and shoot cars from time to time as a hobby - could always do a photoshoot with someones bay and chuck in some prints for the wall! If you've got your own workshop I could even do a full shoot of your workshop for web use - flyers etc... I'm real stuck for where to go with this, I've got plenty of time on my hands but haven't got the skill to get these few hurdles out the way... Such a nightmare situation! I've got a few local lads who will always muck in, but I'm pretty much at rock bottom with this!

Cheers for getting back to me dude, specially at silly o'clock! Someone else who can't sleep...! I feel totally sick for him, he loves his job but he's been getting progressively worse for the past 6 months and I should've seen it coming sooner- Had a pretty long heartfelt conversation with him today and he was pretty gutted to let me down- At the end of the day he's a friend and I'd rather see him on the road to recovery than breaking his back trying to help me out! I'll give Kank a shout and see what he can do! Cheers!
