Collecting from a couple of Bays about to be scrapped

  1. A guy over here gets wind of rusted out old buses and tows them into his backyard to break for parts. I went down a couple sundays ago and on Tuesday to pick up a couple pieces:

Late Westy roof off a '74 - you can see the tailgate bug net in the luggage rack part, too
    [IMG]

The folding upper bed base, cab headlining and rear chipboard headliner
    [IMG]

The entire roof section from forward of the B pillar to the back, and from below the gutter
    [IMG]

    The fold-up table
    [IMG]

The mounting strip for the table, opening quarter lights for the rear-most side windows, Westy interior rear sliding door handle and a USA/Canada dealer's list from the '74 too ;D

The spare glove box lid is for making a 4-hole 52mm gauge pod between the speedo and heater levers, along with a spare instrument panel when I find one.

The Westfalia sliding door handle (goes where the two bolts are at the back of the sliding door, sitting horizontally with the end of the handle pointing forward
    [IMG]

The fixed panes for the rear-most side windows when using quarter lights

Add in the clamp, T-bolt and nut for middle seat, a spare middle sat lap belt (buckle end) and a few other bits and pieces, and I don't think that I did too bad for about £160 all in :))
