Coleman perfectflow gas canisters help!!!!

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Magical Trevor, Jul 2, 2012.

  1. After the party on the farm Joycee (our new mobile chef :)) showed me a few secrets to great burger creation and he sowed me his camping griddle thingy

Now im sure the burgers salad and sauce (and maybee his cooking ::)) had something to do with it but ever since then I have been looking for his camping griddle thing :) (I was a little tipsy so couldnt fully remember what he said he had but the search was on ;D ;D)

Anyway as luck would have it someone at work was selling a coleman perfectflow stove which looked as far as I can remember like what joycee had. (first problem!)

The price was well right so spent my £20 and walked away thinking I had a bargain...

Turns out the gas canisters for these things are like rocking horse poo   (no wonder he wanted to sell! ::))

Can you all have a look round your local camping shops to see if anyone has them and if they do let me know so we can sort out getting some! :)

Im on the list in hull waiting for them but i would love to get some sooner to have a bash at Joycees burger crown ;) ;)

This is a link to the stove (my new nemesis) you can see the blooming gas canisters I need from that ::) ::)

Any help would be greatly appreciated :) The man in the camping shop selling the stoves thinks coleman has a problem producing them so all I can do is sit back and wait (even though he is still selling the stoves )

I just wondered if the tlb sourcing network might have a better solution ;) ;)

  3. I have a coupe of stoves that run off Coleman propane cylinders, I have a couple of links at home, and will post when I get home.

  4. If they are the same as the ones for a coleman black cat catalytic heater, I got mine from ebay after not finding them at go outdoors and a couple of other places. http://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/e11401.m516.l1123/7?euid=562bf0cbe7ca4aae87601e3832675f45&loc=http%3A%2F%2Fcgi.ebay.co.uk%2Fws%2FeBayISAPI.dll%3FViewItem%26item%3D310367059893%26ssPageName%3DADME%3AL%3AOU%3AGB%3A1123
I suspect you want them quicker than that?
Go outdoors do sell them, but the branch I went into was out of stock
I can bring one to camper jam if thats what you want them for?

  10. So its a Saturday Burger cook-off then Bri. Bring it on :)

We are bringing 48 burgers, 48 buns, we are going global ;)

  11. The USA'ns use these all the time and they are cheap as chips. At the lincoln van jamboree a stall had a load and I stupidly didnt buy any.

Here is a couple of links to online sellers:

http://www.bronzemoonoutdoors.co.uk/online-shop/coleman-propane-cylinders-2- this is where i had saved but they seem to have stopped doing them

    BUT I found these

    http://www.skyblueleisure.co.uk/acatalog/204488_Propane_Cylinder_Twin_Pack.html

    http://www.caravantech-shop.co.uk/products/camping/gas-cartridges-and-fuel/double-propane-cylinder

And Go Outdoors do them but they are in store only
