Clutch juddering - 1st gear only.

    If memory serves, it's an M8 bolt - is that correct?

    Yes I think its M8.

    I think when my gearbox came back from Bears that thread felt better than when it went..

    It's almost a job for a short M8 stud wound into a cleaned hole with JB Weld.

    Any particular flavour of JB Weld (there seems to be quite a few to choose from).

    The basic slow setting plastic metal epoxy original, as sold to farmers. (takes about 6 hours to set / 1 day to go full strength). Gearboxes get quite warm, but even the basic JB Weld can go to about 250C AFAIR.

    The faster setting an epoxy glue is , the less strength it seems to have.
