Clutch cable length

Just received, as a spare, a clutch cable for a RHD 79 Bay. The in-house part number on the package is as ordered, but the label says "68-71"

Can anyone please confirm whether this is the correct cable for my 79 Bay. Total cable length is about 3250mm, ends as below. Thanks

 

The ends are always the same. I hope that's not a pube.

I think you need 3215mm so this may be a little wrong,

I am sure whoever you have got it off will do a swap for the correct cable?

 

I reckon GSF has a mistake on the page at http://www.gsfcarparts.com/parts/transmission/clutch?cat=369 and think the first cable refers to years 69-71 and not as stated

 

They will probably just send another and not want the other back, they are odd like that !!

To me, it reads that the cable is suitable for all RHD Bays 70-79. Even when you click on the more details button, there's no more info.

Only if you click on the picture of the cable itself (why would you?), does the 69-71 show itself.

Feeling annoyed with GSF's suggestion that I pay for the return postage when it's the GSF website which is wrong....

 

I ordered and they make you put your vehicle type and year in ,mine ordered me these ?
