  1. Ive replaced my clutch cable and need to adjust it to get the correct amount of pedal travel

Does anyone have the link to the guide on how to do it?

Ive looked on ratwell but cant find it

I've found the cable tends to stretch a bit when first used. Worth checking and readjusting after your first trip.

  4. Found this link http://www.vw-resource.com/clutch_adjust.html

Ive adjusted the wingnut as far as it will go

The link say maximum pedal travel of 3/4 inch and ive got about an inch before i start to feel tension
I havent replaced the bowden tube only the cable
The reason i replaced the cable was because i kinked it by hanging the beam off it

  5. You might be OK as is unless it stretches a bit
I think the next step is to add some washers on the boden tube to take up more slack on the cable as per the article.

  6. Ill see how i get on with it down the line as i cant drive it at the moment
The front of the bus is on axle stands awaiting a few other jobs

  7. It seems theres a chance ive done somthing to the bowden tube when i removed it so ill take a look at that tmw
