closing a westy roof

  1. It seems most times I close the roof on the bus, then drive for a while, when I stop the canvas sides of the roof, that are inside, seemed to have bellowed inwards at the two front corners, creating two large balloons. When I close the roof, I 3/4 close it, with it propped on my head, then roll each corner up whilst pulling forward, and finally make sure the front is clear of the catch. Is there another way of closing it that stops the bellows, or is it just what happens.I suppose a new top rubber joining strip might help.

  2. same as you, i drop it most of the way down, then roll up the loose material before i pull it fully down.
