Not a bad idea as long as we stick to summer time, I'd rather it dark in the winter mornings than dark by 9.00 in the summer. In August we'd be in the dark by 8.00!

And the un-elected making decisions like this is why i voted to leave.

  12. Yes, we can't have sensible people making sensible decisions, can we? Better to be governed by a farcical leader and a bunch of idiots who cannot agree on anything.

  13. Actually... Just to drive the point home, the decision was made by MEP's via a vote, so you voted to leave for the wrong reasons. Shame on you :-

MEPs have voted to scrap the practice of moving clocks forward by an hour in spring then back again in the autumn in the EU from April 2021, two years later than the EU executive initially proposed.

The European Parliament voted by 410 to 192 in favour of ending the practice of seasonal time shifts.

Maybe we could have a referendum on it, that usually sorts things out.................................

  19. This blatent ignorance is exactly what has put us in this mess. You voted out because you didn't want to be governed by "unelected" politicians who you could not be bothered to vote for or against. You actually have the weakest "leave" argument out of anyone I have spoken to about brexit.

They’re devolving power back to the member states. Maybe by the time we leave the EU we won’t need to as it will have reverted back to a common market only again with devolved parliamentary xontrols. Who knows!

Ps I’m all for sticking to summer time all year round, cocking around with the time zones costs millions and I hate dark evenings!
