Its a genuine 20k bus honestly officer !!!! seriously i have a used early speedo (trip ) and i was looking to match the milage with the original speedo on the bus . Is this easy and has anyone done it ? it needs to go backward by 40,000 from 147k to my 104k
I did it on a mph speedo for my bus i reset mine to zero Its a bit fiddly to do but not difficult You need to reove the pin holding the cogs from one side and lift it up whilst manipulating the numbers
I did this years ago... Put a cable in and then put a drill on the other end and hit reverse and leave it running for a few hours
What 40k's worth at 70mph ?? I took it apart and like what's been said fiddly especially as its a trip one but took 15 minutes ,
