How do you release this type of clip with the wire bit.

You should be able to push or lift the stainless clip

 

The stainless wire should push up from underneath It's always helps to push the connector further in as it takes the pressure off the clip.

 

That cold start injector is the one that cracks and starts a fire .. dont touch it unless you are changing fuel hoses.
Dont put force on the hose connections while removing the plug..
