Cleaning carb jets

I have twin carbs, and want to give the jets a blow through with a can of carb cleaning stuff. Now i know the first question will be "What carbs are they". Well all i know is they are Solex. Not sure of the Pict number . Is there such a thing as just bog standard. It's a 2ltr type 4 engine. Is it possible to remove and clean carbs without upsetting the balance ?
(And without dropping the engine)

 

No need to drop the engine and yes if you're reasonably careful.
