Yes very good show, we are going again, some awesome cars last year, from minis to f40s, lots of yanks and a few nice vws knocking about Ill keep my eye out for a kermit
Its a Hightop looks just like the rossis ice cream van thats there, but ill probably be in my bug, i saw there was a green bay with groucho the grouch in the front last time? Not you? Ill say hi if i see you x
You didn't mean the x ! I'm hurt ! Kermit is a green Westy and if we remember to take him, has a stuffed toy sitting on the steering wheel when we are parked up. You guessed it, a stuffed Kermit.
This was great show for fans of classic cars in general. There were early 20th century cars through hot rods, muscle cars, classic fords, MGs, Triumphs, VWs and much more. Some great Rock n Roll and Jive music as a backdrop as well. Here are a few pics that Master Lofty took. I've avoided VW pics as we get lots on here (obviously !). One for the diary next year. Also we got a few waves on route but the best was probably the bloke that was crossing the road, sav Kermit and stopped giving us the VW 'waggle'. Then remembered he had to get out of the road before us on the car coming the other way ran him over
Very very cool show, didnt see lofty though, never mind. Last year they did another last minute show later in the year called the sundowner and it was at the club rather than the field next to it and that was even better i hope they do it again, its in the gallery on their site
