I think the idea is .if you have a classic then get out in it and go somewhere

 

I'd think later in the year when your weather has a better chance of dryness would encourage more to do this.

 

Yep - our MG club has a drive out - with a detailed route plan - think I will annoy them this year and turn out in the Bay.

 

You are right - but the point of it is that it is British Heritage thing with the date being the closest Sunday to St. George's Day (April 23rd)
