Tempted by the TR6 as I sold mine to buy our first camper. but I think it will have to be this but with a V8 upgrade
Just watched the latest Bangers & Cash Restorers edition. They’ve spend 40k on one. Sold it for half that though
Right, I'm here now... what's on offer....? I'm off for a quick peek as it's wages day hahahahahahahaha
I've always wanted a Mk3, but it's a 4 door and it's got the later square headlamps so if I get outbid, I'll chalk it up to experience https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/cla...-1974-ford-cortina-2000e-auto-development-car maybe I'll have to settle for a Mk2 instead..... https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/cla...Jun-2023/2294~2-1967-ford-cortina-1600-e-mkii Or maybe a convertible... I've always wanted one... https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2587-10-Jun-2023/2098~1-1972-mg-midget-mk-iii but maybe a Morris Minor https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/cla...23/2190~1-1961-morris-minor-convertible ...actually no, we have a winner. This one's mine for sure https://angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic-auctions/2587-10-Jun-2023/1843~2-1968-volvo-amazon I love an Amazon. My parents had one in dark blue, called Bertha. I'd have loved that. And who thought to put the handbrake on that side? Fab. I want it!!
I’m on the insurance of a frog eye. I did get to drive it on a day out last year but one of the in-laws is very precious about it and shields it from the rest of the family.
I think we're on the same page ... A once upon a time girlf had that very same version of the midget and it got us round Scotland very nicely thank you ... when it wasn't a London gad about. You're so far back it feels like a much bigger car when turning .. very satisfying poppers and catches on the soft top too .... and then we had an Amazon estate .... Don't get me started. Suffice to say I really wish we never sold it :-(
hmmmm only one of my car choices sold apparently; could now be the time to leap in with a cheeky "I'll take it off your hands for a monkey, cash"??
I can’t see that one I can’t find the channel but I watched this one. Nobody seems to diss the 96, I loved mine and really enjoyed driving it. The sound when you closed the door and cocooned yourself gave you a clue as to how good it really was.
It's tough, but if I can only have one, it's got to be the white 1968 Volvo Amazon with the red leather interior. I would so love one of those... can't believe it 'remains available'! Edit: a late sale, but it's gone. Sadly, not to me!
