  3. I think I'll be going to the local show. For one thing, I want to try the van out on the drag strip, but it's silly for me not to go when it's literally five minutes away.

  4. Sunday sounds good and if current plans fall through for Saturday, maybe then as well but I'll have to take my chances on that one. Look forward to it.

  6. It is, yes.
I was born and bred around there!
I think I may be able to scrounge some Crouch Vale. :)

  7. The H & H camping is basic and it does tend to have a few long term residents there when we've been, but its okay for an overnighter. Toilets are okay - can't vouch for the shower block though, have never used it.

  8. Will have to check calendar think May have birthdays that weekend but will defo do the show Sunday

  9. The Bell is similar but we would have the place to ourselves.
I quite liked it there. :)
The field is big enough for about 2 dozen vans so we wouldn't get full!

  19. In the immortal words of Luke Skywalker, it looks like I'm going nowhere. The van's going to the van doctor next week and after puffing up the little slopes we call hills round here in first yesterday I'm not going to drive the van anywhere until then. I could probably run the quarter mile at Volksfest myself and get a better time at the moment.

If what I think's wrong with it IS wrong with it then that will be my first lesson request at TE in September. I've even ordered some shiny new engine bits for Barrie the mechanic to put on so it'll be easier for me to take them off to practice.
