clarkson for the high jump?

seems the motormouth may finally get his comeuppance, footage found and sneaked out of him singing the old "eny meany miney mo" song we used to sing at school complete with the n word, he's made a grovelling apology on the net via his twitter feed but it don't look good, i wonder if he'll get off with it?

 

It's traditional in that song though, sort of rolls off the tongue automatically. I hope he gets off, I like the annoying sod

 

not in todays p.c. world but i'm sure most of us 40 plussers sang it years ago so i understand what you mean.

 

Was this performance at a private event if so its nothing to do with anyone what he said or did the same as if one of us said n***** at a camp the mods here could do bugger all(unless it was an official insured by tlb camp)

 

Is it clear that he said it? Not that i care about him one way or the other but i read the vzi thread and it seemed there was some doubt?

 

no it was on top gear he did 3 takes and in the 1st two mumbled it, in the 3rd that was transmitted he said "teacher" instead, but someones leaked the rehearsal ones

 

he's admitted on twitter he said it.

If it was a public event he should get kicked, if not leave him alone, feckin PC crowd get up my nose.

i don't want to turn this thread into saying insulting words 'cos it will cause problems, just cos it's news and as petrolheads we all know clarkson.

 

no doubt it,ll not be long before the PC police will be the "thought police "

 

There are a lot of people who would like to put the boot in to Clarkson but I would imagine he'll ride it out.
I would think he says a bit worse down the pub though.

 

I used to work with a great old guy from Grenada, must have hard a hard time with racism in his life, he couldn't say the word "black" in any context, used "dark" instead. A tin of dark paint

 

i'm sure and to be honest the term racist in this case is related to the n word, it's funny how on the show he can insult mexicans or such other races and that seems fine? selective racism by the press i suppose.

Well as his neighbour (Diamond Dave) can (and did) hit the pub and drive off ,leaving one of his sproggs at boozer and it made the papers one day which would have been the next days chip wrapper (until elf " n safety got involved re food hygiene?), yeah ,Clarkton will walk this one, remember, Clarkson skillfully avoided getting him and his mates lynched in America"s South (redneck country)And, wot the jeff were DD"s security team doing that child abandonment day?

 

Depends how much the media latch on. If BBC gets pressure then it's possible he gets the BOOT he's a big ratings puller so behind the scenes the BBC will most likely do what they can unless it becomes brand damaging

 

He must have a new video/ tv show coming out then
