Chrome bumpers??

    Who amongst us has chrome bumpers, Ive seen some and I'm thinking I like!
    Anybody got any pics of there van with chromies??

    I think original white look miles better on your bus :thumbsup:
    Dont like them at all plus there for hot climates ,will look Marmitee in a couple of years.

    Don't listen to congi he knows nowt,
    Ive got chrome bumpers thay look great , but thay wont last if your van lives outside, the chrome is Marmite, you can never have enough shiny bits:thumbsup:

    They'll still rust - base composition of stainless steel is Iron (78%) is the chrome and nickel content (18 and 8% respectively) especially if a 304 grade (cheapest) is used, there are a few other factors too but bottom line salt is its worst enemy especially if the surface has been damaged

    I've ran out of cash to get mine blasted and powder coated so it's a bit of a rub down and a couple of coats of satin black for me :)
