I actually came to that there London in about 1970 dressed something like that by my mum. Me and me bro had corduroy flares half beige with V in the knee and flowery shirts and hat. She thought we looked proper carnaby st, we just thought we looked silly. The grown ups went into a pub at the back of King’s Cross and left us outside with a packet of crisps and a vimto, some local lads came up calling us poofters and the like. We gave em a caning and their mums got the police as I hit one with a dustbin lid. Mum never dressed us like that again!
Cheers Bazza that really brought back a funny memory I must ring my bro ( a Barry too ) and reminisce
One was unlucky in the 1970 World Cup, one we rescued from bandit country and one played in every position on the pitch
But can you name these two suave gentlemen. Famous footballers in Portafino? I got it off FB, honest!
