Some great info. The linkage does look quite weak in comparison with some others. Can you upgrade this to a more sturdy set up? i.e. hex bar?
you would have been better rerouting your own throttle cable position to come through the n/s of the bus. You want to secure those fuel hoses too, or is that a library photo
The fuel and balancer pipes are secured in the bottom picture to the tinware. The other pipe you see is part of the breather system. That's an old libary picture.
