CB Performance air filters (oil or no oil)

Hi All,

just a quick query, I know with K and N filters you spray them lightly with filter oil, is this the same procedure for CB performance air filters? If so what oil is everybody using?

I would use oil on your K&N style filters whatever the brand. I think the idea is that grime and dust stick to the oily surface, so worthwhile in my opinion and don't forget to clean the filters and re-oil once a year. I use the red K&N oil which is easy to see where you've applied it.

Yep, I’ve just bought CBs from Classic Carbs. Here’s the answer

 

I like Classic Carbs too. Much more helpful on the phone than Eurocarb, I found, and slightly cheaper on most bits.

 

Blimey, Van Halen have come down a peg or two ....
