Cargo floor sound proofing under ply floor - spongy floor?

I do believe the Nimrods I worked on had a T5 radar system for air defence.

As far as I recall it was a replacement for the older T4 system.

Speaking of aircraft and puppetry, as a small child, I often wondered, why the pilots and comms staff of International Rescue didn't refer to their various craft in the usual vernacular....let's face it....in adversity, when speed is of the essence and prompt action is required, it would have been so much quicker to have called for T4, or T5, rather than the somewhat longwinded Thunderbird 4, 5 etc. How many more lives could have been saved? That's what I'd like to know...
