Carburetter Exchange

Anyone heard anything about these on the grapevine? Zed recommended them but I have sent 2 emails with no response and cant get through on the phone. Just wondered if they were actually still running.

Can anyone recommend anywhere else to get a full refurbishment of my carbs done? I toyed with a set of dells but the customs and import duty was going to push them out of my price range.

And its looking nearly as much to refurb the solex carbs as it was to buy the dellortos...... hhhmmmm...... wonder if the guy still has them.

My carbs are currently with Gower and lee 01923 247300 they take 8 weeks,, carb exchange told me to ring back in 3 weeks and they would tell me if they could take on , but it would be at least 9 weeks to do them,

 

If anyone's near Leicester, RPL Carburettor & Injection Centre rebuilt my Weber 32/36 for me (I bought it 2nd hand) and they get my van when it needs a tuneup as they have always done a spot on job setting it up.
