I’m not ashamed to admit I often shed a tear at the end of these, but tonight’s show was on another level. Well worth a watch.
was on national geographic, lancia delta integrale The owner sadly passed away before the car was finished
I always cry at the end of car sos. I’m such a jessy. Haven’t seen this one. Tissues at the ready. Oh that’s a different channel!
He was a friend of a friend, Lovely bloke, the car is now sat in my mates garage, the family don't know what to do with it !
I don’t think we have that channel. Sounds a proper weepy. I cry at the ones where the person has been ill but on road to recovery so this sounds like a full on sobbing one. @bluerustybucket that must be like a double edged sword for his family. A reminder of something the chap loved, but also a reminder that he’s no longer here to enjoy it
Surely he would want them to enjoy it like he would have. Insure it and take it to a few car shows. Tell people it’s story. That’s a good way to honour his memory
The one with the MGa was another one, the owner of the cars son and his newly wed wife died tragically on there honeymoon. His last words to his Dad was we will start the MG when I return. Brought a lump to my throat
Haven't seen the episode but the Integrale is a gem of a car . Proper handler by all accounts and quick with it . I'll keep an eye open for the resto on SOS ... Sent from my SM-A320FL using Tapatalk
