Cant get much fresher

We had game stew for tea with home grown veg
You cant get much fresher than from ground to pot within half an hour

 

tasty stuff para , real veg

 

we had some yesterday,french beans,and potatoes out of the ground lightly boiled and on the plate in 30 mins...

 

me grandad used ta grow everything , bettys dad does so we get spoiled now n again, hes 85 this year n keeps his garden top of shop!!

 

Im sure the garden also keeps him top of shop dude
Idle hands n all that

Ive had my name on the allotment list this year so im hoping in a year or two i get my chance
Its a shame though because i know when i get the chance it will because an old boy will have passed on

 

yep he dances 3 or four times a week ,plays bowls n has a younger lady friend too

 

Sounds like he has more of a social life than me lol
