Can you get new sliding doors sort of thread?

This is ok a lhd sliding door and in Germany but doesn't look nos ..... am I right to assume black paint stuff over panels is a newish thing ie modern repro??

it's a later door 'cos the hole for the lock is in the frame isn't it?

 

Looks right for mine, a LHD '78

 

The man says it's original and it looks it.

 

i'll rephrase, it says for 72-79, the 2 holes say to me 74 0n.
