Can dogs get Chicken Pox?

  2. Spoke to my sister just now for you, shes never heard of it , and says no, but they do get alot of skin disorders ie itching etc. She is very doggy and moves in those circles so to speek ::) ;D. Run the symptoms up on vet forum or something ,this may give you what your after. Good luck hope dog is better soon. :)

    It's an human autoimmune response and linked to the herpes simplex virus that can turn to shingles later in life. Dogs can't get it.
