So I've fitted a reconditioned solex 34 pict 3 carb and I've got a massive flat spot. I've done the valves and timing it ticks over on and off choke. Seems to be perfect until you put it under load. Forgot to say 1600tp as engine and vacume advanced dizzy. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
DO you have preheated air feed through air cleaner ? Accelerator pump not pumping enough fuel ? Jetting wrong because cold air feeding is messing it up ?
No it's had the original air cleaner taken off (Not by me) and I've turned the pump up. But I did not Check the jets I'm thinking it could need bigger main jet. Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
Seems to be from what I can see. Put new pipe on it aswell just in case. Someone has just offered to lend me there's to test if mine is working. Any recommendations if I need a new one? Sent from my SM-G930F using Tapatalk
To check if it's working remove the vacuum pipe from the carb end. The baseplate in the dizzy should move when you suck on the vacuum tube
