  1. Hi all I have purchased a LHD 77 bay beauty. named Jama. its a Micro bus i wondered can i move the the two seater bench to the front of the bus to replace the passenger seat? it has no bulk heads? is it possible???

    Thanks in advance

  2. Possibly with a bit of fettling .
I`m thinking wheelarches and mounting will have to be tackled ....

  3. Worth ago tho right??

  4. It is possible but i think you need the bulkheads. I saw a picture on google of two bars that bolt across the walkthrough, allowing the bench seat to just slot in.
Im pretty sure itd be impossible to find a pair of these bars so theyd have to be made.
Ill look for the pic later..

  5. Much appreciated Dude. You no what its like when you just fancy something. you got to do it right. Thanks in advance for picture

  6. seen a modern jag back seat fits right in....plush leather mmmmmmmmm

  7. I think you'll find that the seat base with the springs in is too deep which would make the sitting position too high and uncomfortable for anyone with short legs. You'll need to do a lot of cutting too. Cut the legs off, cut the arm rest off etc. If its a nice seat with a sound core and cover you're probably better off selling the seat you have and buying a front bench seat. They come up on here every so often quite cheap and are often on eBay. That would then just need a simple frame making up to hold the seat back up.
    :)
