Camper Jam - 6-8 July 2012

Weather is pretty grim here and set to continue in that fashion at least until 4pm after that the local weather says clearing up. Between 10am and 4pm expecting 2.5" to 3.5" or rain, so might be getting there a little later than planned to miss the worst of it.

 

i plan to role in around tea time just after....... will bring a large tarp to make joint shelter if needed.?????

 

I tell you what I'm going to bring my boat.

Joking aside am i the only one that partly wants them to cancel? there's a lot to be said for camping and having fun but faced with the weather reports and the grief of setting up in the wet with the forcast how it is i have serious reservations.

I even have a spray on wet suit for you one with the flap between the crutch

We've got a long 4 hour drive to get there so I agree I'd rather they cancelled it now than Saturday morning. Don't want an angry wife and moaning child to deal with!

Can any early birds getting to site let us know what it's like please.

 

Actually is anyone local enough to just pop over there this morning and speak to someone face to face?

 

i'm gonna get there later than planned i think, i see no point in rushing the mrs after she gets in from work at 1.30 to then sit in the van in a field "waiting for the rain to slow down" to put up the awning to sit in the awning listening to the rain, i'm really pee'd off yesterday was boiling hot and dry all day, if i hadn't spent £70 on tickets i'd be staying home fact.

 

i can't see them cancelling it would leave them well out of pocket, i reckon they will go for part cancell and money off like big bang.....
