Camper Jam - 6-8 July 2012

I think we'll need 2 firepits in club camping this weekend - one for the sad moany old men, and one for the rest of us.

Honestly, there is nothing any of us can do about the weather, whatever it is will happen, all we can do is make sure we're prepared for it. Or if you feel that strongly about it, then don't go - but if we all did that, nobody would ever go anywhere.

I've packed my crocs wellies, plenty of warm clothes, the gas heater for the van, towels for the dog, and enough beer to make me not care about the rain.

We need to bring the landrover as well as the van - does anyone know if I'll be able to park the landy separately, or am I best giving them a shout first?

 

I saw on the Camper Jam FB thingy that you can can only take the amount of vehicles you originally booked in, so def give them a call


You know fire pits? Well, you know when it's peeing with rain? Do you just put them under a gazebo or wot?

 

I would imagine they'll look favourably towards anyone offering to bring a Landrover YC. You're gonna be busy...

 

currently at work (less than 10 miles from cj) and the weather tells me it's raining...... here is bolly in "the rain" so fingers crossed it's still "raining" tomorrow!

 

Thats the kinda rain I can live with!

Firstly and most importantly, Camper Jam 2012 is still going ahead as planned! We've had a few showers at Weston Park this week, but not enough to cause any problems.
