Yes you just need to call the events team (see website for contact number) and they will update your details x

 

I did this I just emailed them had quote a fast response and they sorted it for me

I'm looking at going, when do most folks arrive, Fri or Sat?

 

Friday is best - we usually take the day off and get there in the afternoon.

 

Already booked the Friday off and plan to arrive without any panic!!! Although looks like I'm going to borrow a friends bus so may well be on an AA truck!!!

 

We are arriving Friday hopefully sometime after lunch, still no sign of tickets tho and I bought and paid for them a good few weeks ago??

 

They normally send them out the week before

 

Anyone applied for cooking in a camper?

I've been on the reserve list for the last 2 competition but ended up taking part - this year I asked to be on the reserve list and I've been put through!

We'll be in the T5 again and last year a passing observer said "that's not a camper - it's got a better kitchen than our house" so this year we may forgo the Sous Vide, deep fat fryer, blast freezer and serving pass to ensure we don't win again on an equal footing!

Feel free to barrack / support and you may even get to taste the Paella if it hasn't been condemned!

My daughter has applied, probably won't get a place but a good cook and keen+

 

Ask for her to be a reserve as there hasn't been the full 10 in the last couple of years.

I suggested having 5 on the bench, as some drop out as late as on the day, and at least they would have the full compliment for the cook off!

Having sacrificed many major appliances this year I am on the look out for a sous chef if your daughter is interested!
