Booked to stay on a nice little Eco campsite this August https://campwight.co.uk/ I'll add more after I've been.
Most campsites are usually a big field with very little cover from the elements or privacy from other campers. The pitches at Campwight are situated in little pockets/openings in the woods. Pitches vary in size, but we could fit our LWB Transit into quite a lot of them, and there is a 'field' pitch if you want to go as a group. A few friends if mine were also there (for 4 weeks!!!) in their 7m Itineo, a LWB Fiat and a T5 all on one pitch. Facilities are Eco based, with compost loos and the weak point, solar showers which the owners hope to upgrade very soon. Cost is £15 per pitch. No hook-up at all as it's a back to basics/Eco approach. You can rent tents/hammocks or Geo Domes. You can see red squirrels on site too (got to check the big camera to see if we got any decent pics). The #7 bus stops outside and goes to Newport for connections elsewhere or towards Yarmouth and The Needles.
