Calling wiper switch gurus

  1. @Bigherb mebbe?

Vans with the delay option had a switch variant that went 2-1-T-0-J. Any idea what the "J" position was? Ta.

  2. Was there ever an electric screen wash option? J for jet peut etre?

  3. The relay is earth switched but the opposite way IIRC. As there was a fault if you had a poor connection the delay would not switch off.
If the relay contacts fails or you remove the relay you only have fast speed wipers.
    This is the wiring diagram.

Yes they did along with headlamp washers.

  4. Yep, seen that pic. Wondered what the J position was, assuming T was for the wiper delay.

I've got a headlight washer tank with pump, but it's just lashed up to the windscreen washers.

It’s the wash/wipe – lift the stalk to wash the screen and the wipers make two or three sweeps.
