Cable Trunking

  1. Has anyone changed the cable trunking under their van. As you can see in the photo, mine is shot.

Can you buy this off the shelf or do you have to have to improvise.

    Thanks

  2. For my extra wiring I used the black flexi trunking cable-tied to whatever was handy.

  3. I am giving the holes in mine a damn good ignoring at the moment, I haven't seen then for sale so I think it is improv only

  4. PVC conduit would work I expect.....available from all good screwfix branches :)

  5. i used PVC conduit , a straight coupler each end stops it sliding out

  6. As above, mine appears to be wrapped in loom wrap and then put inside PVC trunking (although I didn't do it). If your original metal trunking is in that state, get rid of it before it snaps off and slices through your loom.

  7. I used 1inch galvanised steel conduit

ground off the galvanising and welded it back in

  8. Thanks for all the ideas

  9. I would replace with rigid pvc trunking, 20 or 25 mm diameter
