  1. Help needed,I am in the process of replacing the drivers side cab floor on my 76 bay .The floor I bought is flat all over but my floor has a depression part for the accelerator rod to go into.Do I have to make one or does anybody make them ? Mine is rusted and can only be used as a pattern. Also the new parts hinge, spring and accelerator pedal seem to be two types for my year what is the difference and how do I tell ?

as for the cab floor, I've no idea if anyone makes a good repro...for the pedal pivot recess, one way round it would be to simply cut a hole (with a hole saw) and fit some kind of 'cap' from the underside....it could even be plastic, as long as it's water tight (use sikaflex sealant to fix it on?)

  3. Alan schofield make a very good repro!

    You have the wrong panel.

  5. What whole floor or just the recessed bit ?

  6. They do passenger side and driver side repair sections. See my resto thread for an example. Doogle.

  7. Thought that but could not find a floor panel with the recessed part in it .

I haven't looked recently but heritage used to carry the full range, there are three or four different ones.

  9. Too many must have got confused and got what sounded correct but must have not looked to closely.

  10. Just seen AS does the correct panel but not the recessed piece on its own ,might give them a shout anyway.

Go by the chassis number, if you ring heritage with that, believe it or not they'll know which one you need.

More than likely. Some parts change part way through a model year and they generally know the chassis number when they changed. I assume your van is a later one?

  14. When I did the M plate decode it said Feb 1976
