cab door interior handle

Went to fit the new door cards that have been sitting around for months only to find the door handles are wrong and don't line up with the holes in the cards. When I took them off they weren't even fitted to the correct holes but to drilled holes.

I need a pair of these


I've got a pair of these

and a pair of these


but neither are right for my door.

Any idea where I could source a pair of the top ones?

 

Are the black ones you have the same as those you need, just that they need to go on the other door (left one on the right door etc) and turned around?

 

Have you got VW Brazil doors ?

 

No, the black ones in the top picture have a different mounting bracket.

 

Do your doors have lock buttons next to the window

 

quite possibly. the PO had new doors fitted along with a new front panel about 10 years ago so not sure if they are NOS or brazilian

 

Brazil ones have the swages or ridges on the outside. The fitting you seek is the same as on my jk doors from 2010 which were swapped directly from the 1974 rusty doors on my bus.

 

Only late BRAZIL ones have the swage the rest are the same, the handles in a different place so is usually repositioned, are your door cards new?

 

Yes door cards are new. @vwed has sorted me out a couple of drivers side ones which I can hopefully cannibalise one for the NS, failing that I can get one from VWH classic parts but this takes 3 weeks.
