I'm considering poking some wires up my C pillars... Are they hollow / is there route for cabling down to the floor??

I've a microbus with the headlining in place buy door cards off at the moment, so I can see a limited amount of the metal work

I've just re:read that... to be clear - I want to link some extra lights to the courtesy light so would pass wires from below the windows up the C pillars to the roof supports.

I've just tried poking some stiff twin and earth up the channel that forms the window (not the body of the C pillar) and from the light fitting in the opposite direction and I've come across a dead end at the top of the windows...

I don't want to drill an unnecessary hole in the C pillar itself if there's not a route through at the top?

  3. There is a route, certainly on the slider side...it's where the slider door switch wire goes.

Might be tricky getting extra wire up there unless you've got the cab headlining out, tho', as they catch on the internal pressings. Could pull the headlining down at the side - easy enough to do - then slide it down from above.
