If you set it up so it runs right it will pass. They're good on emissions, I've never had one fail.

  11. I know the jets are correct it was put on a rolling road and set a couple of years ago . The CO was at 2.5 at last years MOT , since then it has had some carb cleaner put in . I just wanted a guide on the CO as I am more than aware they do not like to run lean .

  12. Maybe this is just a change of units? .025 is the same as 2.5%. Have you asked the MOT station?

The idle mix screw provides a fuel air mix at idle only. It bleeds in below the throttle plate. However it's set, the moment you have any throttle at all, the jet itself takes over.

Very easy to set. Screw in until engine stumbles, slowly unscrew a bit at a time. When your last little unscrew makes no difference, screw it back in that last bit.

  15. Cheers, thanks for your help . If it ever stops raining down here I will get to the beach and have a play .
