Err.......umm.........well.... Listen if id wasted time finishing the kitchen I wouldn't be out camping yet
Not sure, its Harman's cross. It's a huge field but pretty quiet. Think they're only open for a couple of months from July 1st. Although it's on the side of steep hill, ( its just a field) theres a flat section round the bottom where most people are pitched. ( in our section - ). But of course as its monsoon season some folk are struggling to drive back up the hill..... A geezer this morning, his car wouldn't pull his trailer up hill, so he took car up first then I gave him a hand to push the fully loaded trailer up by hand. Our van Got up the hill no probs though and we've come out to coom soup in the rain for lunch nomnom
Enjoy, we love the area around Swanage and Corfe Castle. This was us last year & hope to be going back soon
You are so cheeky Mr Oft! Freya made it there & back with no incidents. That's because @volkswombat took his lucky fully loaded tool box with him... we didn't need it and had a jolly good time in the Purbecks! Hope to be back again at the end of August.
[ Done alright the old girl! However was pretty windy and a second roof hinge got torn out the roof. Only 2 holding the roof on now! Fancied a Paris rag top anyway. (Not really)
Well was a good trip, crappy weather mostly but that's the sh1ttish isles for ya. Saw laods of bays, spoke to one owner who is not on tlb, The steep muddy field was fun , we took to driving to the far corner and taking a run at the shallowest slope, the bumps and undulations made it very exciting and we probably " got air" several times . gnarly dude. Kids loved it, camper behaved, wife behaved, I didn't break myself.
What more do you want in a holiday . Did you slip on your Spandex climbing shorts and get stuck halfway down a cliff, which is traditional in Swanage?
I did put on my spandex Climbing shorts, but then @MrsVolkswombat got carried away, put her " fascinator " on. and well let's just say the tent next door left early next morning
