Is that the one where they had to dig it out very carefully as it was the soil that was holding it together? Any ideas what tyres its running
Cheers for the reply ned Both those vans in the last pic look hard as nails I need to have a word with myself im normally a shiny van type of guy
i've been racking my brains over this, and i can't decide! so, here's a list; splitty ones, pick-up ones, ex service ones, pretty ones, ratty ones, tin-top ones, window ones and poorly ones. (i think i have a vw problem).
Keeping old cars factory original is my preference, but sometimes my creative nature wants to sing as well. Next I would like a bus that I can really go wild and get my hands dirty with. These hybrids are very intriguing. I would like one with a small crystal chandelier and functioning wipers up in the beetle.
Enlightening that many of you Late Bay owners lust after the earlier models. Same here - I just got a 67-68 bay and the build quality seems to have been designed out for later bays. There are so many little touches and intricate bits that just disappear later. I have the bus I lusted after so no piccies for me.
Thanks to the pioneering efforts of the good people at photoshop, I can show you exactly what bus I would like to own. Naturally all the lights and wipers would work. Both rear hatches would be functional. The upper bunk will remain intact. I would eventually put a vent or skylight in the pop-top. And finally, a nice subtle interior. If you're going to dream, dream big.
